Welcome to our Senior Football - Social
Our Senior Football grades are specially designed for both men and women aged from age 19 and above.
Games are played on Saturday afternoon at various locations across the North Shore and West Auckland. Home games are played at Rosedale Park or the Albany Domain. The competition is administered by our Governing Football Federation, Northern Region Federation (NRF).

Albany United has one of the largest player bases for social football on the North Shore and are proud to offer such a range of opportunities to all adults wanting to play football, whatever the level

What happens if it’s raining?
If it’s light or intermittent rain – play goes on. As a winter sport in New Zealand, its expected there will be some drizzly days, it is usually more fun with a few puddles!!
If it’s heavy/stormy rain, please check our social media (make sure you “LIKE” our Albany United Facebook page for all club news and info during the season)
We’ll also send communications via Texts to the coach/manager. From here the coaches/managers will send cascade communication to you.
We aim to communicate as soon as we know on a Saturday should there be a cancellation.
Communication is received by the Governing Body, Northern Region Football, following field inspections and communication with local Council.
Should the fields be closed by our local Council, We will be notified and inturn will communicate as above.

Alvin joined the Senior Committee in February 2019 and plays for one of our ASFA teams, Green Machine. Alvin works for Northern Football Federation and is heavily involved in engaging with the Asian community and delivering great sport initiatives. Alvin has recently been recognised by the Asia New Zealand Foundation for being one of the top 25 aspirational leaders who works tirelessly to better the relations between New Zealand and Asia.

Allan joined the Senior Committee in February 2019 and manages one of our ASFA teams, Green Machine. Allan is one of the country’s top young referees which saw him officiate the 2018 ISPS HANDA Chatham Cup final. Allan also sits on the board for the Auckland Sunday Football Association and is continually expanding our Sunday football offering.

Stephen joined the Senior Committee in November 2019 in preparation for the 2020 season. Stephen's appointment to the committee is an exciting one with his years of experience in the footballing world which has seen him manage/play for Albany North End in NFF Div 3 for the past 5 years as well as giving up his time to run various teams all year round.
