HOLIDAY PROGRAMME

AUFC HOLIDAY PROGRAMME

Our Holiday Programme facilitated by our Community Football Director and in partnership with Greenhithe Football Club.

Our programme covers a number of core skills where players can improve and develop. This is a great chance for players to receive high quality training separate from their team training as they advance in football and place themselves in position to gain an advantage.

Albany United Holiday Programme

$45.00 per day
Flexible booking (full programme, week or individual days )

When: x8 days of the school holidays. 
Rain days are held in reserve for each of the fridays in the holidays, if required)
Ages: 5-13 year olds
Time:   9.00am - 3.00pm each day
Location:   Rosedale Park or Wainoni Park

The programme days usually follow a format of:

9.00am to 9.15am

What to bring:

Players need to bring food and snacks for morning/afternoon break & lunch, water bottle, shin pads, football boots, a rain jacket and plenty of energy and enthusiasm to learn. 
In the event of heavy rain the programme will be moved indoors at the clubrooms.

Activities anticipated:

COMPREHENSIVE SPORT EDUCATION: 
Player Pathway Scheme with induction programmes and training programs, with both theory and practice.

EXPERIENCE ACTIVITIES:
Program of team-building activities.

TRAINING:
Morning, mid-day and after training sessions, matches in the afternoons.

FOOTBALL THEORY:
Technical talks and seminars aimed at teaching subjects, such as formations, the rules of football and physical preparation.

SUPERVISED GAMES:
Participation in traditional games and recreational activities focused on fostering footballing values.

GROUP EXERCISES:
Participants meetings and discussions including the values covered.

As Albany United is a community club, players wishing to attend the programme, do not have to be affiliated or be registered players of Albany United FC.

Albany has successfully hosted several holiday programmes with great success and feedback.

This is great news for aspiring players as Albany United continues to meet its strategic goals and development plans.
